Captain Skunk Beard……The name was created by my two kids, while I was trying to think of a good name for my Charter company.

It was not until they called me that name at a fishing meet, and immediately the name was born…and quickly people started calling me that, and a year later …they have not stopped…people still remember the name.

Capt. John McMillan aka Captain Skunk Beard is a Tampa Bay native that has a passion for fishing and water adventures.

If we’re unavailable when you call, please leave a voicemail, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Additional Information:

Your fishing charter will depart from the boat ramp located at 5108 W. Gandy Blvd, Tampa, Florida 33611. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure to ensure a smooth boarding process.

We catch fish and will fillet them for you, so don’t forget to bring a cooler to keep your catch fresh on the way home. For your comfort and enjoyment, please bring sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun, lotion sunscreen (no spray sunscreen allowed on the boat) to keep your skin safe from UV rays, and your favorite beverages to stay hydrated. Adult beverages are allowed—feel free to bring a few drinks for relaxation. Snacks are also a good idea to keep you energized throughout the day.

We provide water on ice to keep you refreshed throughout your trip. Additionally, we will take photos of your adventure and send you a copy of the originals, so you can relive the excitement and share your catch with family and friends.

Ample parking is available on-site at the boat ramp. Please follow the signs and park in the designated areas. The boat ramp area is wheelchair accessible. If you have any specific needs or require assistance, please let us know in advance so we can ensure your visit is comfortable.
